Getting Your Outside To Match Your Inside

Looking in the mirror, sometimes you see a reflection that is far from what you want it to be. Maybe you used to be at a place where you felt good, then time slipped by and then you look around and think,

"How'd I get to look like this?"

It's a desperate feeling. Not a time any of us are very proud of. We know we "should" self love, but we "should" do many things, and self love seems unbearable in our current state. So we shuffle along in life, head a bit lower, and trying to shield ourselves from too much attention.

The discovery that phsyique shaping, in it's most pure and noble state, is about getting your outside to match your inside,* can change your entire view of what it is you're pursuing as you undertake some "shape-up" goals.

A beautiful inside. A beautiful outside. Trying to make the two match.

Sisters In Shape is undertaking it's own mirror reflection moment. What started almost 3 years ago as a hobby blog for a busy mom with a vision, has in 2015 taken a look in the mirror and thought "eek!" how'd we get to looking like this?

We look in the mirror and see our site is a mess, it doesn't function quite right, and we're apprehensive to call too much attention to our current state feeling a bit like the ugly sister.

Deep breath. Let's get our outside to match our inside.

So we began the process by seeking out some help. We enlisted the design help of Kelsey Cronkhite of Pinegate Road to "refresh" our brand and site. Kelsey listened to the passion of our purpose and the level we are taking our movement and through "moodboards" & a couple design rounds, Sisters In Shape is starting to have it's outside look more like it's inside.

Just like any transformation, ours is taking some time. And yes, if you ask the ugly feeling sister, we totally understand the feeling that transformations don't feel like they happen fast enough....but in knowing that this whole process is about making your outside match your inside, what kind of inside would you have if you clicked your magic heels and got your beautiful outside?

We'll pass on the magic heels and lace up our running shoes.

xoxo

Your Sister In Shape

PS...here's a first look at our new logo. Website is in process of transformation - May 2015! :)
