WEEK 6: LIFE HAPPENS
This week of my post partum blog, I'm using video blogging to share with you how I've coped this past week when "life happened".

Faith & I in hospital waiting room...I cuddled Faith and held onto her with hope in my heart a lot this week.

Faith in my lap as we waited. We sung lullabies and said nursery rhymes because even in bad situations a baby makes things better.

I asked my husband to let me have 30 minutes to blast my music into my ear phones...and work out my emotions in our (home) gym in the basement.
NUTRITON: WEEK 6
I was on-the-go everyday this week, driving 2.5 hours a day to/from the hospital. My purse was stashed with protein shake packets, apples, almonds & protein bars. I kept water on hand all the time, and the only stop I made through the drive-through was to get a bottle of water when I ran out.
I'd be home late and often in need of ENERGY. While I was TEMPTED big time to eat my favourite comfort foods (ice cream, chips, candy), I stuck to nutrient dense choices such as whole wheat toast (sprouted grain bread) with natural PB + banana slices & my Isagenix Greens!.
On the worst of the days emotionally, I drove up to the eat-out restaurants and was tempted by the cheesy pizza slices or ANYTHING that was greasy. I knew my body needed the energy and nutrition of VEGTABLES, so I mustered up all will power and headed into Pita Pit. I said "no thank you" to the offer of chips & cookies with my order, and said "load it up" when it came to vegtable choices. I ended up with pita stuffed with so many veggies (and grilled chicken) that it was as big as Faith!
My typical daily meal plan is shown in Week 4 so you can see what it is I’m normally eating (and enjoying)! If you'd like to discuss including Isagenix products in your lifestyle diet, I'd love to chat with you about that - contact me at erica@sisinshape.com to set up a call. I can't share these products enough!

EXERCISE: WEEK 6
I continued with my Beginner Strength Program this week, and had to ask my husband to support me this week by looking after the kids while I took 30 minutes to blast my music into my ears and pump out my emotions. I did 4 sets of each exercise and really saw myself as a WARRIOR.
